Natalia Moudrak highlighted the outcomes from Intact Centre’s Under One Umbrella: Practical Approaches for Reducing Flood Risks in Canada report. The resilience metrics included thus far in municipal Green Standards was identified as well as the feedback from municipal staff on challenges on increasing the resilience advancements within green standards and opportunities to addresses those barriers and better equip green standards and/or stormwater standards to advance community resilience was discussed.

- Next Steps for New Developments: We plan to dig into each of the CSA Guides to see how they can be applied via Green Standards and/or Stormwater standards. We will be undertaking that in early 2021 and seeking input from municipal staff.
- Next Steps for Existing Buildings: The goal will be to advance the inclusion of flood protection measures via building retrofit programs moving into the market in the coming years.
