Green Infrastructure and Stormwater Management

March 2021

Sydney Collins and Kevin Meindl from the Buffalo Sewer Authority shared information on Buffalo’s Raincheck Program and how they are advancing green infrastructure via stormwater management efforts. They spoke to how green infrastructure opportunities were advanced and monitored in order to increase understanding and buy-in. Examples of actions, their results and overall alignment between grey and green infrastructure synergies were also discussed. Franz Hartmann from the Small Change Fund also shared updates and outreach resources on the Unflood Ontario campaign. Updates on the Unflood Ontario program will be sent out to you via email.
